The counting for the 18th Indian Lok Sabha Elections is in the process and the much-awaited result for the same will release in the next few hours.
Following the conclusion of the seventh and the final phase of the elections, all major exit polls predicted a thumping victory for BJP-led NDA at the Centre., with an improvement in its 2019 tally of 303 seats. BJP-led NDA is leading and NDA count would surpass 400 seats.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Varanasi constituency is ahead of 619 votes against Ajay Rai. With the clean sweep, Modi aims to secure his office in the third consecutive year.
Whereas, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is leading in Gujarat’s Gandhinagar by 2,25,000 votes.
Additionally, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi is leading in the two Lok Sabha seats of Wayanad in Kerala and Raebareli in Uttar Pradesh. In Wayanad, Gandhi is ahead by 103 votes, while he was ahead of his BJP rival Dinesh Pratap Singh in the counting of postal ballots in Raebareli.
